AGENDA
10:30am John O’Keefe Income SIG Update
John will kick off the day, with an update on the status of the Income SIG and Retirement SIGs.
He invites you to bring topics to cover and any retirement or investing concerns you may have.
10:45am Richard Hill Workshop on Estate Planning
Richard will join us for the entire meeting and will provide a series of workshops from January
through June of 2026 on topics pertaining to managing a successful retirement plan.
What you will learn at this session:
1: A background on Richard and how he built his financial advisory business
2: A few examples of typical documents used in estate planning and the
underlying legal advice on proper estate planning
3: Some more usable advice of how to implement the legal & financial
requirements into your estate documents but more importantly, into your
financial actions
4: Lastly, he will explain how best to integrate practical legal and financial
advice into your everyday plans
We will focus on two things at next week’s SIG meeting:
- A catch up on where things stand at the Houston AAII Club and a discussion of current events or investment/retirement concerns we may have. I am looking for the members to initiate these discussions and I will be happy to moderate or answer questions.
- A Workshop being put on by Richard Hill, a speaker we enjoyed having last fall to thoroughly evaluate the current status of our estate planning needs and how to bring them up to date as needed.
