Presentation Synopsis:
Leaning on the rich legacies of AAII (Jim Cloonan) and NAIC (George Nicholson), Mark and Ken will explore core principles and rewarding experiences based on eight decades of the modern investment club movement and the lessons and demonstrations of these Midwestern investment education associations.

Bio: Mark Robertson & Ken Kavula
● Ken and Mark host a number of programs, including a monthly Investing Round Table Webcast. The intent is to share 3-5 actionable investment ideas brought to you by experienced investors with formidable long term track records. The rate of return for Round Table selections since 2010 stands at 15.5% beating the market by more than five percentage points. These FREE sessions are generally held on the last Tuesday of the month at 8:30 PM ET. Mark and Ken also host Bull Sessions, a FREE webcast on Tuesdays at 2 PM, covering a wide variety of subjects. ● Mark Robertson (markr@manifestinvesting.com) is founder and Managing Partner of Manifest Investing, served as senior contributing editor for Better Investing and has worked with successful investment clubs and individual investors since 1993. He has appeared on National Public Radio, CNBC and ABC to discuss long-term investing. He has also worked with Smart Money, Barron’s, Money magazine and the Motley Fool and been covered by the Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal and MarketWatch as well as a number of local publications.
● Ken Kavula (kkavula1@comcast.net) has served the modern investment club movement in a wide variety of leadership volunteer positions. A retired educator, he is regarded as a small company champion and respected speaker nationwide. Ken also belongs to four investment clubs, including two Model clubs and a family club.
