Edward “Ted” Simpson is the Senior Vice President and Head of Focus Fiduciary Solutions. He joined Focus in 2021 to build the value-added trust & estates offering for partner firms and their clients. Prior to going Focus, Ted was a Senior Wealth Planning Strategist with Wells Fargo Wealth and Investment Management for over seven years. Ted also practiced law at Samuels Yoelin and Kantor LLP, and Harrang Long Gary Rudnick LLP for more than 15 years as a tax, business, trusts and estates attorney. Prior to that, Ted was with the National Office of Deloitte & Touche LLP. Ted earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government/Pre-Law from Eastern Washington University, a Juris Doctor from Gonzaga Law School, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law. Ted also earned a Certificate in Leading with Finance from Harvard Business School Online. He is a member of the Oregon, Washington and Alaska State Bar Associations. Ted lives in South Florida and is married with five children. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing and fly fishing.
