Presentation: How Much Can I Safely Withdraw During Retirement
Doug will review several examples of safe withdrawal rates using different methodologies and will also discuss the classic "4% Rule" and the pros and cons of that approach. Additionally, if you have year-end related questions Doug can address those during Q&A.
Doug is the president and chief compliance officer of Lynch Financial Group. A graduate of The Ohio State University, with a double major in accounting and finance, Doug became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1992, a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) in 1995, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional (CFP®) in 2014. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, CFA Institute, and CFA Society of Columbus. Doug lives in Hilliard with his wife, Lisa, and their two children. A lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan, he also enjoys traveling, reading, running, and music.
