"AAII's Essential Investing Principles and Strategies"

Join us for our next in-person meeting at our La Jolla/UTC facility to network with other like-minded investors and gain the perspective of AAII Senior Technical Analyst Ray Rondeau.  Ray is the creator of AAII's Video Education Suite, developer of AAII's Active Investing tools, and the author of AAII's Classic Technical Indicators series.  Mr. Rondeau previously spoke to us on April 14, 2018.

Long-term successful investors have a plan and the discipline to follow it.  A significant component of a successful plan is the effectiveness of the strategies of which it is composed.  In this presentation, Ray Rondeau systematically covers and applies several investing strategies to our current market environment.  Focus areas include strategy reasoning, methodology, and interpretation; how to set them up (online for free); historical performance statistics and guidance on monitoring the signals; and the where, when, and how to transact.  The presentation concludes with coverage of the antithetical approach to investing and Rondeau's staple segment, "10 Signs That Your Stock May Be in Trouble."

As an added benefit, three live-event attendees will receive complimentary access to an education class from AAII's new Video Education Suite.  All live and virtual attendees will receive a unique code for a special discount to help us kick off AAII's official offering release.

Join us and learn:

  • How to evaluate the fundamental principles, basic components, key measurements, and potential benefits of an investment strategy and then select the one that is right for you
  • Several simple methods to lower costs, improve returns and proportional risk across your exchange-traded fund (ETF), stock, and mutual fund positions
  • Effective strategies designed for today's market environment, including a step-by-step walk-through of the "Beating the Market With Half the Risk" approach
  • The basic reasoning and tenants of the antithetical approach for adapting and succeeding in today's highly volatile, globalized market environment
