Portfolio Review, and Market Outlook
with Frank Erzinger, AAII Houston
For the December AAII Houston Income Investing SIG meeting, Frank will provide us with his update on the market outlook, review the recent performance of the Income Investing SIG portfolio, identify high grading positions, and propose a rotation among the assets held by the portfolio.

Nick Atkeson joins us again this year for his annual market review and outlook for the coming year. In his presentation last December, Nick reviewed the forecast errors for economies and markets for the previous year to show the difficulties in predicting portfolio performance. He suggested that holding a diversified portfolio of bonds, stocks, commodities, and defined-outcome funds might serve us best for 2024. In this presentation, Nick will review the performance of those funds and suggest an updated set of investments for 2025.
Nicholas Atkeson is a founding partner of Delta Investment Management LLC, a registered investment advisory firm based in San Francisco. Prior to founding Delta Investment Management, Atkeson was a partner and portfolio manager of Delta Force Capital LLC, a San Francisco-based hedge fund from 2006 to April 2009. Prior to Delta Force Capital, Atkeson was a managing director for Banc of America Securities and Susquehanna International Group LLC. He is co-author of "Win by Not Losing: A Disciplined Approach to Building and Protecting Your Wealth in the Stock Market by Managing Your Risk" (McGraw-Hill, 2013). Atkeson graduated from Haverford College, Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in economics, and from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
