Biography

Bill Hawes, CFA, CFP®

Bill Hawes serves as President & Chief Investment Officer for Candor Asset Advisors®, a registered investment advisory firm in Austin, Texas. Bill has over 27 years of investment management experience. Prior to founding Candor Asset Advisors®, Bill served as an equity portfolio manager and/or equity analyst at Franklin Templeton, Engemann Asset Management and Century Management. He also co-managed equity portfolios for institutional clients such as CalPers, Mitsui Trust, Norges Bank and Penn Mutual and for high net worth clients.

Bill earned his BBA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993 and MBA from the University of Southern California in 1998. Bill has also earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner designations.
