I find the "Sentiment Survey" to almost useless. While most AAII articles include metrics, statistics, etc. in support of the thesis of the article, the "Sentiment Survey" is simply boiler plate. It should include some respondents' metrics like: number of responses, age group, geographic residency, size of portfolio, net assets, etc. In addition, the historical comparisons are of little use because of significant changes in world politics, economies, technology, etc.
