Thanks, Aneeqa.
Mystery solved.
Very Impressive curriculum vitae.
I have to admit I was hoping to find that AAII was employing chatbots to respond to Community member posts. I foresee that possibility as generating more than a few giggles. Of course, some of the member possible tall tales about the magnitude of their sustained investing successes do hint at a need to verify if they are flesh and blood like the rest of us.
Since all my Turing questions about American Pie require knowledge from before 1972, I still think my list of questions would be useful to separate Boomers and Gen Xers from Gen Ys and Gen Zs users from Chat Bots.
Regards,
Nanu, Nanu.

Aneeqa,
I would very much like to respond to your questions, but I have recently adopted a strict rule that I only interact with humans. I did this to reduce the amount of meaningless information I get from generative AI-trained Chat Bots.
I can find no information about you on AAII.com. Therefore, I am unable to verify you are human.
I am asking you to pass the following Turing Test I have submitted below to ensure you are not a Chat Bot.
- Who was "The Babe? (left over from the Battle of the Bulge)
- What was the Battle of the Bulge?
- What was American Pie?
- What are the 5 questions in American Pie?
- Did you write the book of love?
- Do you have faith in God above If the Bible tells you so?
- Do you believe in rock 'n' roll?
- Can music save your mortal soul?
- Can you teach me how to dance real slow?
- You are confronted by two people guarding two doors. Only one door leads to freedom. The other leads to death. One guard only tells the truth. The other always lies. You can ask only one of them one question. What question do you ask?
--------------------------
Feel free to ask John and Charles and some of the old AAII folks if you need help with these questions.
You may play music if it helps. Dancing is permitted as long as it is not some of the 70's robo stuff.
Not time limit.
Good luck.

Subject: Striking the Right Balance Between Growth and Value Stocks
The debate over favoring growth or value stocks has long intrigued investors. In his October 2024 article, Craig Israelsen delves into 34 years of historical data, showing how each approach has performed across various market caps and economic cycles. Notably, growth stocks-especially large caps-have outperformed recently, but with higher volatility. Value stocks, on the other hand, provide more stability, often outperforming in certain small-cap and mid-cap segments over longer horizons. Israelsen suggests a balanced approach, incorporating both growth and value stocks to create a diversified portfolio with potential for steady returns and reduced risk.
Given the recent trends in growth stock performance, do you believe now is an ideal time to maintain a growth tilt, or is it wiser to rebalance with a value tilt based on potential future shifts? How does your perspective change depending on market cap (large, mid, or small)?
