The Spending Needs Coverage Worksheet helps you determine how much will need to withdraw from your portfolio to pay for a certain goal. One-time, monthly or annual amounts can be used. We suggest repeating this exercise for each financial goal you have. The larger the amount you need to withdraw relative to the amount you have saved, the less risk you will be able to tolerate.
