How My 2022 Market Projections Came Apart So Quickly
with Nick Atkerson, Delta Investment Management 

Delta Investment Management is a San Francisco based registered investment advisory firm that specializes in quantitative market timing programs to avoid major stock market declines and to participate in bull markets.  Delta identifies simple, robust quantitative measures that indicate when risk is elevated, and equity exposures should be reduced.  During bullish periods, they review how relative strength models can be used to invest in the strongest sectors of the market.  During bearish periods, they review income opportunities.

In his presentation to us last January, Nick used his quantitative models to forecast a good year for the stock market, up 11% on the average. In this presentation, Nick will explain how his forecasts missed the mark.

Nicholas Atkeson is a founding partner of Delta Investment Management LLC, a registered investment advisory firm based in San Francisco. Prior to founding Delta Investment Management, Atkeson was a partner and portfolio manager of Delta Force Capital LLC, a San Francisco-based hedge fund from 2006 to April 2009. Prior to Delta Force Capital, Atkeson was a managing director for Banc of America Securities and Susquehanna International Group LLC. He is co-author of "Win by Not Losing: A Disciplined Approach to Building and Protecting Your Wealth in the Stock Market by Managing Your Risk" (McGraw-Hill, 2013). Atkeson graduated from Haverford College, Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in economics, and from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
